What to Expect:



1. Why are we organizing this expo?
  1. The property EXPO is organized in an effort to provide to the local market of Cyprus the opportunity to get on the property ladder.
  2. QG has a huge portfolio of properties in its inventory and the Expo is an occasion where we can showcase and sell these properties at special prices.
2. What is the procedure for the purchase of property?

€5000 reservation fee. Preparation of contracts and full payment (minus reservation) together with the signing of contract and delivery for completed Properties (within 5 days). If a client is using a bank loan, then the client’s own contribution has to be paid within 5 days from the reservation date and the remaining amount is to be paid from the loan and within 4 weeks. Delivery of the property can only be made if the full amount has been settled except in the event the client is approved under our Flexi Property Purchase Payment Plan (see question 9 below).

3. What are my choices of loans/payment plans?

We will have two banks present at the EXPO, providing favourable housing loans to interested buyers.

4. When are the title deeds of each property issued?

It depends on the project but usually 12-24 months from the date of delivery

5. Is there any possibility not to obtain the title deed?

No. We as QG always adhere the building permits requirements of each development and if there are changes required we adjust them accordingly and re-submit the application. Delays are usually due to the Government Authorities.

6. When is the reduced vat rate of 5% applicable and when 19% vat rate?

5% Vat is only applicable for the first Property Purchase application for each Purchaser. If Purchaser has already applied for another Property, whilst paying 5% Vat he will have to pay 19% VAT. Also, if a purchaser is buying multiple Properties, he can only pay 5% VAT on one Property and 19% on the others.

7. Are there any properties without VAT?

Yes, we will be glad to show them to you.

8. What if I do not have the deposit right now?

Before the Expo we can arrange to collect the deposit within 24 hours. During the Expo, we can only reserve a Property with a deposit.

9. Do you accept exchange of properties?


10. What are the terms of payment for off-plan projects?
  1. €5,000 reservation fee.
  2. 40% minus Reservation fee together with the signing of the contract.
  3. 20% upon completion of structure of the Property.
  4. 15% upon completion of plastering & rendering of the property.
  5. 15% upon completion of flooring of the Property.
  6. 10% together with the delivery of the Property.
11. Is furniture included?

Only for a few projects. We will provide which ones and indicate them on the EXPO Price List.

12. Do you provide property renovation services?

Yes. We have our Interior design team who will be glad to assist you.

13. What if I cannot pay the 5K deposit during the expo?

It is a first come, first serve policy. We can only arrange reservation upon deposit payment.

14. How long can you keep the property for me?

Not applicable during expo. Only if the client wants a couple of hours to bring the reservation.

15. Why all those properties are sold? Have you closed deals before the expo?

At the EXPO we will have a new list with only available properties.

16. Can you build my house if I have the plot?

Yes. We have our architectural & design department who will be glad to assist you.

17. What other expenses do I have except purchase price and VAT?

Communal Maintenance fees payable to the Mgt committee of each development. Transfer fees for Properties that are not subject to VAT. Stamp Duties. Contract lodging fees of EUR50 paid to the land registry department.

18. What are the common use expenses of my property?

A list is available. And is included in the Q EXPO folder

19. If I buy a property can you arrange to lease it on my behalf? If yes, then, what is the fee?

Yes. We charge 10% management fee for long term rental and 15% for short terms. Also, for long term rentals the 1st months’ rent is a finders’ fee.

20. Do you assist also for the filing of contract at LRD/stamp duties payment etc?

Yes, we have a dedicated team to assist you.

21. Transfers fees: when NO VAT is applicable what approximately are the transfer fees?

Transfer fees are usually close to 4 % of the purchase price.

22. Under construction & off-plan delivery dates.

Included in the Expo List.

23. For properties with no title deed can the client leave a balance and settle upon issuance of the title deeds?

No. Reasons:

  1. Our experience has showed us that client don’t pay the balances for the issue of the title deeds and makes use of the property irrespective.
  2. The properties at the EXPO are at highly discounted prices and leaves no room for payments to be collected in the future.
